Sales Account Manager
The Account Manager is the liaison for our customers to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
Responsibilities:

Solicit and grow sales volume from assigned accounts.

Build thriving relationships with existing customers.

Track status of orders and communicate status to customers.

Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
-
Set follow-up communications to keep customers aware of order status and when it is time to re-order.

Work with internal team members on pricing and terms of orders. Provide quotes to customers and receive orders.

Promote customer satisfaction through prompt communications with customers and provide them with excellent customer service.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related roles especially with B2B interactions.

Interest in technical products. A background in a science or technology driven business is helpful.

Familiarity with CRM platforms

Optics Production Technician

Optics Production:
Our Production department has a range of positions that process raw substrates into finished precision optics for high-tech industries.
Fabrication: create rough-shaped optics from substrate material using saws, centering machines, beveling machines and Bridgeport mill, Blanchard grinders, shaping saws
Blocking: adhere blanks or partially finished optics to tooling for Grinding or Polishing processes. This department also de-blocks and cleans optics and prepares them for the next processing step.
Grinding: bring blanks into near-specs and creates the rough surface.
Polishing: produce the final surface finish on the optics.
QC: checks and measures optics to confirm they are to the customer’s specs. Documents results.
Our Production department personnel are cross-trained across areas. In these roles you learn how to fine-tune industrial optics to their final specifications. This is hands-on work with an artisan flare. It is not button-pushing.
If you are already a highly-trained optical polisher with experience in achieving high quality finished surfaces on a variety of substrates, we want to hear from you.

We are a US-based manufacturer of precision optics, thin film coatings and optical assemblies with a prestigious customer base in the aerospace, defense, industrial medical laser, life science and semiconductor arenas.
We are seeking a Technical Sales person to grow sales within OEM and Government customers. This person will have a strong sales background with technical products in OEM and Government environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Researches and prospects for new opportunities within current customer base as well as finding new OEM or government customers

Handles inbound sales calls and converts calls into sales.

Provides information to customers related to their technical specifications and requirements and company capabilities.

Builds and maintains customer relationships.

Works with internal departments to resolve job questions.

Provides order status and is the primary customer contact post sale

Travels to and attends up to four trade shows annually.

Travels to customers periodically to strengthen and align relationships
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from a four-year college or university preferred; with at least five to ten years related technical sales experience.
Must possess an aptitude for Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Math to learn and understand customer needs and to present product offerings effectively to customers. Previous experience is technical sales desired.
Must be detail-oriented and possess strong communication and relational skills. Ability to learn technical information is required.
$70K + commissions (estimate $100K/yr comp package)

Sales Administrative Support (Full Time)

We are looking for an administrative aide with strong computer skills who is detail-oriented, interested in working in a technical manufacturing business, and wanting to grow their knowledge and skills.
Support the Sales department by processing orders and completing technical specification data entry. Learn and follow procedures to ensure accurate information flow from Sales to Production departments. Recognize and accurately utilize internal part identification and numbering schemes. Other clerical tasks include requesting and compiling customer satisfaction data, completing compliance checks, initiating returns (RMA) documentation, filing, follow up support tasks with Sales team and general office support.
As a custom optics manufacturer. We build to a customer’s print and specifications. Therefore, accuracy is of upmost importance. It is important to audit your work and verify given information against multiple sources. Any discrepancies must be researched and corrected before information is passed on.
Requirements:
Minimum HS diploma with a strong interest in science, technology, or math. Some college preferred.
Have a heart for providing friendly, prompt customer service to internal and external customers.
Computer entry skills. Previous experience with Sage is helpful.
Proofreading and auditing skills. Aptitude for accuracy.
Previous clerical experience including at least 2 years in a data entry role preferred.
This job is located at our offices. No remote work option.
Full-time with benefits.
