Grinder / Polisher:
This position grinds and polishes optics materials to within specifications using various tooling and machines.
Duties:
- Use optics grinding tools to smooth edges of lenses
- Operate polishing machine to smooth lens faces
- Select appropriate tooling for job
- Sets and removes parts from tools or machines
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Be able to follow directions
- Must have fine motor skills to handle small parts
- No experience necessary, we will train!
Production Control Assistant (Part-time)
We are currently seeking a part-time Assistant to provide clerical help in our Production Control / Inventory area. Duties include:
- Create and update computer spreadsheets and documents
- Filing
- Copying
- Assist in cycle counts
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Secure skills working in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience in CAD preferred
- Familiar with various units of measure
- Able to sort and file both numerically and alphabetically
- Proofreading skills helpful
- Minimal inventory experience helpful (6 months or more)
- Able to follow instructions
Schedule is 20 hours per week (4 hours M-F), 1 pm to 5 pm.
Thin Film Coating Technician:
We are seeking entry-level applicants with an Associates
degree in Physics, E.E or other related science background
to operate a high vacuum chamber, perform thin films
coatings using electronic bean gun or resistance heater.
Candidate must be able to function effectively in high-
volume, fast-paced work environment.
Salary is commensurate with experience. Full medical benefits available.
