50 Years of Quality

For over 50 years, we have manufactured the highest quality optical components, thin-film coatings and optical assemblies for use in precision imaging and laser applications. We specialize in the manufacture of standard and custom optics from 1mm to 20 inches in the ultraviolet, visible, and infrared regions.

UV through IR

RMI offers standard and custom optics and coatings in the ultraviolet, visible and infrared regions from 193 nm to 20 μm wavelength. Our coatings are specially designed for high damage threshold and environmental durability. Our rigorous in-house testing procedures ensure that we deliver the finest optical coatings in the industry to every customer, every time.
