Non-Polarizing Broadband Cube Beamsplitter coatings are vacuum deposited between two right angle prisms that are permanently cemented together. These coatings utilize a combination of metallic and dielectric films.

They are designed to divide an incident, polychromatic beam into reflected and transmitted components with a ratio (R/T) of 45/45 ± 5%.
